‘La Colorada’ plot, planted in 1993 and located in Alberite, Rioja Oriental. Trellised vines planted on clay soils rich in iron. East-West orientation.
Sustainable viticulture, minimally invasive. Organic fertilizer, no herbicides or systemic products are used. Minimum tillage of the soil.

WINEMAKING
Hand-harvested in 15 kg crates on September 30th, followed by manual bunch selection at the winery. Cold maceration for 3 days and spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 12 days, with two punch-downs per day. Malolactic fermentation and ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels — 400 and 225 litres — and one 225-litre Hungarian oak barrel.
